An Invitation to Submit Designs to

101 Crochet One-Skein Wonders


Dear Fiber Friend,

We invite you to contribute to the next book in our One-Skein Wonders series: 101 Crochet One-Skein Wonders. Our first four collections, One-Skein Wonders, 101 Designer One-Skein Wonders, Luxury Yarn One-Skein Wonders, and Sock Yarn One-Skein Wonders have been very well received. Our readers are saying that they want more!

This time, we’re focusing on crochet. We invite you to contribute crochet designs for home decorating items, baby items, personal accessories, toys, or garments, each one using only one skein of your favorite yarn. We're pleased to be able to offer $101 for each of the 101 patterns selected. The extended deadline for submissions is August 31, 2011. See Submissions Checklist below for information on how to format your submission and where to send materials.

If your pattern is selected, we'll send you a letter of agreement asking for the one-time right to include it in our book. We’ll credit your work and include complete information about your business, if applicable. And of course, you’ll be one of the first to receive a complimentary copy when it comes off the press.

Submissions Checklist

□ Completed submission form, including personal and pattern-related information: Use the online form OR download and complete the form in Word and send by e-mail or on a CD with the rest of your submission

□ Pattern charts, if necessary

□ Completed item

□ Yarn band from the skein of yarn you used

□ Self-addressed stamped envelope of adequate size and postage to return your project/s

Important: If you use the online form or if you e-mail your submission form, we must still receive the completed item and other materials by U.S. mail or other mail service.
