Sweet Pleasure Body Honey

Make an ordinary evening of romance extraordinary with this moisturizing, tantalizing, edible, spreadable body honey.

Organic, unrefined, extra-virgin coconut oil soothes, softens, seals in residual moisture, and lubricates even the most delicate of tissues. It also conditions brittle nails and cuticles, relieves chapped lips, and soothes scaly patches of skin and other symptoms of dermatitis. It’s a superior oil for treating and preventing blisters on your feet, and it can be used as a daily after-bath massage oil to keep your skin blissfully soft, in top condition, and smelling of rich, ripe coconuts. I even use a tiny dab to defrizz the ends of my dry, curly hair.

This edible body honey blend is fabulously tasty, aromatic, and easy to make. It’s also comforting to dry skin and works wonderfully well as a hydrating sensual lubricant.

Sweet Pleasure Body Honey

Makes about 1 heaping tablespoon

NOTE: This formula is not latex-friendly.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin, unrefined coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon raw honey
  • 1–2 drops vanilla, peppermint, spearmint, fennel, cinnamon bark, or sweet orange essential oil, or your favorite flavoring oil such as almond, hazelnut, cherry, peach, or strawberry

Directions

  1. If the coconut oil is hard, set the container in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes or so until it softens. Then place the coconut oil in a very small bowl (a custard cup works great) together with the honey and essential oil; whip together. This sweet treat is now ready to use for an evening of enjoyment!
  2. This body honey is highly spreadable; a little goes a long way. Apply anywhere you desire some sweet but slightly sticky kissing.
Note:

If the temperature in your kitchen is above 76°F, the finished recipe will remain a liquid; if the temperature falls below 76°F, it will be a medium-soft solid.
